The course was a great way to restart photography after lockdown. The weather didn't quite play ball but we still got the landscapes and night sky shots. Neil & Ricci were always around to share their expertise and guidance with the delegates. The Smugglers Rest was a great place to unwind after a long day & night out. I highly recommend this course.

A great few days of Astro and Landscape Adventure with Neil and Ricchi at Devon. Great choice of locations and abundance of knowledge to share. No matter what the weather was both the trainers went out of the way to make sure the delegates had the best experience shooting and editing the images captured. My first time capturing Astro and came back with quite a few images I am happy with and a temptation to get a new camera.

I was a complete novice, having very little experience. Neil made me feel very welcome and was always within a shout for help! He gave me lots of tips and showed me how to 'frame' a good photograph and how to use the 'drop' filters. The setting was beautiful and I felt I got a lot out of it. The other members of the group were all very helpful and patient with me. I was made very welcome. It was a thoroughly good day and I feel I leant a great deal and have some wonderful photographs.

As a new owner of the D850 I found this course extremely helpful. Ricci spent time to fully explain the system, answered questions fully and showed practical applications for the many features of the camera. Ricci made clear that the system is demanding to use but rewarding if good technique is employed. He covered every area thoroughly. Very enjoyable.

Had my camera for a year and brought a large book to learn how to use it. Learnt more in the 3 hours on this course than I did from the book. Thought 3 hours would drag but didn't notice could easily of carried on for another 3

Really helpful session, delving into the inner reaches of the Z7ii menu system, that even the reference manual doesn't explain. Well explained with examples. The course length of 2hrs kept me engaged all the way through.

The course was organized by Neil. He had planned out the best places to go with the amount of rain fall over the previous days. There was also various cameras, lens, and filters for us to use to make best use of the photo opportunities. With 4 delegates on the course this allowed Neil to spend a lot of time with everyone on so we could take full advantage of the experience as a trainer. Overall, it was an excellent course and would recommend this and other Nikon training courses.
