I joined up for this course and was a little apprehensive to be fair on the day, in case the pace was too quick, or too technical , or I felt uncomfortable BUT thoroughly enjoy it and benefitted from it so much. The trainer was excellent inclusive of everyone's personal needs and objectives, without putting anyone on the spot. He talked every aspect through in a timely manner and provided so much information. Cost was so reasonale too, espcially in comparision to other courses.

Despite the fact that the volcano had stopped erupting before the trip, Neil worked hard to put an exciting trip together. We had two brilliant nights photographing the Aurora Borealis, very strong displays and unusual patterns in great locations. The days were action-packed and the trip culminated in a fascinating hike up to last year's volcano and the new Meraldir caldera. Neil and the local guide/driver Ingo were superb.

Unfortunately the erupting volcano had subsided by the time we got there. However, we were treated with a fabulous display of Northern Lights. As usual, Neil was always on hand to give advice of camera settings to get the best pictures possible.

An excellent course for those looking to learn about astrophotography. Ricci has a seemingly endless amount of knowledge of everything Nikon/photography related and the Nikon School courses are an excellent way to improve your skills. I would highly recommend this course.

Although not a training course as such, the Nikon After School Club is always very informative and interesting as Neil and Ricci provide helpful and comprehensive answers to questions submitted by email in advance and through the chat facility on the night.
