I enjoyed an excellent day despite the weather, Buttermere on a fine day would provide some beautiful scenery for photography.

The online tutorial from Ricci was excellent. The presentation style and content was pitched just at the right level, with good supporting presentation material. Because there were only 3 of us on the course we were able to interact with Ricci directly rather than by typing in the message box which was much more personal and give a far more hands on feel to the tutorial. My first experience using the Nikon School was everything I had hoped and will certainly be looking at further courses.

A great days photography. Neil provided useful guidance on composition and use of graduated filters. It was also really useful to try out the Z7 ii, 14-30 f4 S and 24-120 f4 S that I am considering buying. It was also really good visiting a new location and being shown the best locations for photographing the landscape by Neil.

It was a good start to the day learning a lot about the use of filters and it gave me the confidence in using them and what i learnt about using them from Neil taught me that they might be used in other photographic situations other than just water the appearence of motion. I did go one to try them with steam (Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow Gauge railway) it gave the appearance of steam being in motion.I still learnt a lot in the afternoon despite the weather turning showery with heavy downpours.
