Approaching printing with some confidence now

COURSE: How to: Print Fine Art Images

The class was, in a word, excellent. Neil is such a good communicator. He also is very, very good about answering questions. Great tips including to turn down the monitor brightness which itself was worth the price of admission.

COURSE: Experience Day: Wildlife - British Wildlife

As usual Nikon and indeed the staff at the BWC did a great job. There was more than enough time given at each of the animal enclosures and expert advice from Ricci as and when needed. Captured some great images especially of the oh so photogenic red squirrels! I would say the animals are virtually all hand reared so it is not like capturing images in the wild but nevertheless a great day out....

Highly recommended!

COURSE: Experience Day: Wildlife - British Wildlife

Great course with lots of time and opportunities to capture some wonderful animal shots. The group is kept small so you are never inhibited and have the trainer's attention whenever you need it. As with all Nikon courses, the help and advice from Ricci was superb so you learnt a lot, practiced a lot, and went home with some great pictures. The chance to borrow and try some additional kit is also a great bonus.

I found the course very informative and exactly what I needed. Since taking the course I understand the functions on my camera a lot better and also how photography works. I will definitely be singing up to part 2 when it goes live!

A Brilliant Day with British Wildlife

RATING: 5 of 5

COURSE: Experience Day: Wildlife - British Wildlife

This was a fantastic experience - The welcome we had at the centre was amazing. Millie the keeper/handler was so accommodating giving us plenty of opportunity to get good shots of the animals. Rocco was always around to help us with our camera questions and to encourage us to move around so as to get different shots / backgrounds of the animals.

Learning from the pros

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: JULY 2022

COURSE: How to: Print Fine Art Images

Neil is superbly technical with his principles towards photography and printing. Over the course we went in detail about calibration, color gamuts and it’s differences. Kinds of print heads, inks and paper. Spend a lot of time going through Lightroom and Capture One with soft proofing the image on a calibrated monitor. In the end he said we strive to get our prints as close to the image we see on screen but it was going to be very difficult getting a 100% match.
