Ricci did a stellar job, explaining how the focus system on the Z cameras works and how the different options are interlinked, work best based on particular situations, etc. All good, but what really set him apart was his deep technical knowledge not only of the physical properties of dealing with light but also all sorts of ‘behind the scenes’ technical aspects of the Nikon system. Furthermore, he answered all questions and treated every attendee as a peer.

The course was fast paced with a lot of ground covered. Having moved from DSLR to mirrorless this was very helpful in explaining the difference in the focus systems. The course was excellent and as described on the ‘box’. There were plenty of time for questions from the eleven or so attendees and lots of examples to back up the various settings. Excellent value and far more enjoyable and beneficial than using a manual or YouTube.

The course covered most of the basics of the menu and which settings to use. Excellent explanations given as to the which and the why. A lot of ground covered at a fast pace but there was plenty of opportunity to get all questions answered. Very well run and very helpful. Although no notes were given out there was ample time to take notes and screenshots. I can recommend this course for getting to understand the mirrorless systems.
