Enjoyable, informative course

RATING: 4.8 of 5

COURSE: How to: Filters

It was a nicely balanced / timed course with a variety of useful information and some excellent example shots. It was tied together nicely and there was also an informative Q&A session.

COURSE: How to: Landscape Depth Of Field

Great presentation, so much useful, practical information. I learnt a huge amount that I can take into my everyday practice. Neil is an excellent teacher - his enthusiasm shines through, and it was a great, relaxed learning environment.

COURSE: How to: Landscape Depth Of Field

This has given me the best experience to master the camera and understand its functions, resulting in quality of photos that I have not been able to achieve before. The zoom was well constructed and demonstrated how to achieve 100% clarity using the camera settings - something no Youtube guide has been able to explain.

COURSE: Mastering the D850

My D850 was 'fresh out of the box', so the session was extremely useful. It was professionally delivered with a friendly and approachable style. I would recommend to others.

COURSE: Mastering the D850

Another fantastic course led by Ricci. I had bought the D850 but hadn’t used it yet so it was great to come into the course with no knowledge and leave knowing the best settings for the camera. Ricci was really clear and the presentation was fantastic. Thank you, I feel confident to go out and shoot now.

Astrophotography 101

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: AUGUST 2022

COURSE: How to: Astrophotography

An excellent introduction for me. Covered the basics (lenses, camera settings, rationale for each). Neatly divided into different scenarios (moon, sky, Milky Way, Aurora, and star trails). Information given at a good pace, and there was a full response to individual questions. Finally, demonstrations of post processing images to best effect. Fantastic course, thank you.

Ricci Brings Clarity to the World of Filters

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: AUGUST 2022

COURSE: How to: Filters

A very well presented course which I would describe as time and money well spent as I am currently thinking about investing in my first set of filters to help me get more from my landscape photography. By accident or design the small size of the group helped Ricci cover all of the topics in the course in his characteristic clarity and detail and also answer the many questions from the group.

Filters, and how to use them.

RATING: 4.4 of 5
DATE: AUGUST 2022

COURSE: How to: Filters

As usual, Ricci is an engaging and knowledgeable teacher. He took us through the basics of polarising, and UV filters(don't bother, big lesson for me), and focused then on ND filters. Interesting and useful. Slanted (for good reason) towards holders and drop in filters, so perhaps good to think a little more about those of us who have bought screw-in filters, either through lack of understanding or budgetary reasons. It left me wanting to go out and try some of the things we'd talked about.
