This is the second time I am attending the Low Light Photography course and could not be happier with the result. Neil took us to all the scenic locations across the South Bank and guided us thoroughly through each photo opportunity. His tips and guidance were fantastic, including the post production process. We were very lucky with the weather which allowed me to photograph the locations which we missed last time because of the weather. I feel better informed and more experienced.

Five hours well spent at a great location for wildlife. The squirrels performed well as did the variety of birds. Basically non stop shooting, and lots of images to sort through in the days that follow. We mostly worked from 2 hides, alternating between them as they each provided different opportunities. Neil never far away answering any technical questions and topping up the supply of nuts (for the wildlife, not the photographers!).

I was quite shocked to learn I was not using my Z6 to the best of its capabilities. Too often I've been using old techniques the camera had made obsolete. Importantly I learned how/when to use the different focussing and exposure features along with their pros and cons. Ricci was super clear in his explanation and covered the cameras comprehensively - I cannot imagine what would be in a part II ! The pace was just right and the graphics etc all trouble free. I highly recommend this course.

Really enjoyed this course and appreciated that it was taught by Nikon instructor that knew the answers to all questions posed to him. Liked the sample photos showing what can be done. Appreciated learning about the differences between various Nikon cameras and lenses as it relates to Astrophotography.

Thought the course was a good follow up to MASTERING THE Z 9 PT 1. Ricci was a great instructor and was able to address all questions raised to him. Between this course and the Part 1 course - I'm glad that I took them as the Z9 was my first foray into the mirrorless realm having coming from using a D850.
