A very comprehensive and informative overview of the most important bits of the D850. The pace of the course was just right, and Ricci paused at salient bits to give time for the information to sink in, and often repeating for emphasis. Plenty of time to make notes and to ask questions. All and any questions were encouraged either directly speaking to the trainer or via chat. The course has elevated my knowledge of my camera. A good mix of shared screen, live view of reviewing settings & how to change them. Ricci is very knowledgeable and it really helped me that he is interested in wildlife and birds. Lots of relevant examples. Anything I asked he did not immediately know, he was able to think and quickly answer. The time flew by.

This continued from part 1 of the course and covered many interesting functions of the Z9 including time-lapse, focus-shift, flash and video as well as details of customising the camera controls. Ricci answered all our questions and covered each topic in lots of detail so that we have the confidence to take our photography further with this camera.

From Ice Caves in a glacier to the most stunning Auroras imaginable, this is a trip not to be missed. It is a workshop not a holiday and covering a lot of miles but what a fabulous trip. Well organised from start to finish, a brilliant Icelandic guide and great food and accommodation. What's not to like?
