Brilliant day exploring Kyle of Lochalsh area with our guide Neil, assisted by Ellie who provided an excellent overview of the area as she drove. As ever on these courses, the structure was very relaxed with the onus being on the individual photographers to capture their images in the best way possible. Neil’s encyclopedic knowledge of all things Nikon and how this potentially relates to the image desired is imparted in a gentle, encouraging way. Outstanding scenery, guides. Thanks Nikon School

I had such a fantastic time over the two days I was on the course. Having someone who knew the area intimately made all the difference. We went to amazing places we never would have found and Neil was on hand with help and advice at every stage. I originally booked for one day but it was so good I stayed for a second day.

I was really nervous about going on this course having booked it many months ago. However, I need not have worried. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Neil was a fantastic instructor really helping each of us learn what we wanted to from the day. I learned so much about my camera that I never knew was there and really don't want to use Auto anymore now. Couldn't believe the shots I was able to take as a result. I also learned some great places to take photos here in the Highlands too

A great five days spent shooting the Highlands landscapes and wildlife with some Astro thrown in for good measure.
The weather was not always kind to us but Neil and Elly always seemed to make it work.
Got some great shots, improved my image composition from Neil’s guidance and discussion with other attendees.
Can not recommend the Highland series of workshops highly enough.

From start to finish my week in the highlands was a fantastic experience,
The locations were excellent and Neil did everything possible to get us in the right location for the weather at the time.
It was great to meet up with old friends and make new ones too, and the whole week was a very relaxed environment for you to grow your skills.
We had a mixture of landscape and wildlife on the trip, and the variety in the locations was also well balanced.

I am disabled. Ricci taught me everything I needed to know about the camera and how to get the most out of it. Ricci was totally awesome. No question was silly to him. He genuinely wanted me to get the most out of the session and I absolutely loved it. So much so I'm having another session soon. If you want the best training, go to the best - NIKON School

I had a fabulous photo shoot at the Photography Show - it exceeded my expectations, was professionally run with a great tutor (Neil) who was energetic, open to the participants' ideas and full of knowledge that he shared. Emily the model was equally professional, patient and understood how to help me to get the shots had in mind.

Considering the forecast and the actual weather we had a great day. Neil managed to turn things round to make an interesting day. We managed a few shot at Stainforth avoiding much of the wet and Neil guided us thro looking after our gear in the wet, along wth helping us get some good photorgaphs. We retired to the Knight Stainforth Cafe for lunch and to escape the worst rain. During this time Neil took us thro some presentations on composition and also looking at post processing.A great day.
