My first time on a Nikon School course and my first time at Bempton Cliffs. I was totally blown away by the amount of birds and Neil made sure to get us in the right places for the best photos. Both Neil and Ricci were on hand to provide any tips and help with any problems we may have had.

Useful course: Nikon should sell the course with the camera! Ricci explained the core functions clearly and in an easy to follow manner. Indeed so much so I found a button I had not realised was present! I find the camera much easier to use following the course and am getting more from the camera.

A worthwhile experience in a great location offering innumerable photographic opportunities. Course well organised, Neil as always very helpful, on-hand to offer help and always encouraging questions so all participants are obtaining the maximum from the day. The session on editing was useful and encouraged a very helpful discussion for those of us who have less experience of editing. Overall a worthwhile course to be recommended.

Was my first Nikon course after 5 years of self learning as an enthusiastic amateur. Learned (and corrected ‘mis-learned’ self learning) a lot. Neil was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with how to make better use of the capabilities of the Z9. Rachel was a font of knowledge about the birds. Just finished post processing 1,800 pictures and have many more ‘keeps’ than expected. Looking forward to the next course

This kind of course can be tricky, given the different levels of knowledge & experience of attendees. Suffice to say that I found the 3-hour course interesting and valuable. I learned several things I didn't know, and reviewed some things I had forgotten. In all, well worth the minimal cost!

Busy and lovely day at Bempton with Neil and Ricci. We started the day at 8 with Neil explaining different aspects related to taking pictures of birds in motion, portraits and using camera settings for different conditions. I ended up capturing over 1000 pictures only to conclude a satisfying day.

A great day photographing various different coastal birds. Both Neil and Ricci were on hand throughout the day to offer their expert tips and advice. Puffins, Gannets and Razorbills among others were in action and it was a great chance to get some excellent images and learn some new skills.
