I've attended this Course on Zoom a number of times now. Extremely useful as one can answer questions - Neil and Ricci are very knowledgeable about ALL things photography and not just Nikon - of which they are experts. Time well spent if one wants to know anything ( and I mean anything) about photography. And at No Cost.

I have been attending these ASC meetings for nearly a year now & the one common theme that has hit me each time is the selfless & honest effort that goes into helping us, time & time again…it’s really so heart warming! And it’s all besides the point the advise is pithy, 100% accurate & what comes from decades of field work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

The boat trip was exhilaratiing with the diving gannets with the added bonus of dolphins breaching as well. Rachel and Neil were ideal hosts providing challenges and guidance to try something new to eleviate my photography.

Fantastic! I learnt so much from this course far more than I have from YouTube videos. Worth every penny. Can't wait for the next two I've booked.

One of the most enjoyable wildlife encounters I’ve had in a long time. Whilst cliff top gannets and other sea birds were photogenic the spectacle of gannets diving was outstanding. The grace as they enter the water coupled with the fight for fish was amazing so much so I stood and watched as much as shooting.

One of the great days with feeding gannets off the cliffs at Bempton. Course leader, Neil, and attendant celeb wildlife photographer, Rachel, very generous with their time, knowledge and passion. Learnt so much, not the least expanding vision for more creative and artistic wildlife photos. My first Nikon School day, long day - will book again.

A typically well organised course, ably led by Neil Freeman whose boundless energy and enthusiasm never ceases to impress. Good accommodation, expertly chosen locations, an experienced local guide, and invaluable hands-on expertise and tuition, from compositional guidance to ideal camera settings. Good fieldcraft and local knowledge resulted in great photo opportunities of Otters, White-tailed Eagles, Puffins & other Seabirds, Red Squirrels, Deer, Highland Cows, and landscapes.

Ricci elaborated further from the Part 1 course, again with info on settings I was vaguely aware of but had not used, e.g. Pre-Release Capture, which is not obvious from the camera alone how to use this (selecting c15 or c30), customising the viewing screen, and focus stacking.

This was an excellent discussion of the Z6III Autofocus settings. Each was described and demonstrated and I left the session with a much greater understanding of how to use each one. Recommended for those feeling overwhelmed by the number of options!
