Amazing day at Bamburgh, a very scenic location and stormy weather made for some great shots. Neil and Ricci did a great job of adapting to the changing weather and good explanation on what camera setting to use for the conditions. I also learned about using filters, which was new for me.

A brilliant day photographing red squirrels in Hawes. Huge thanks to Neil as always, for his expert tuition, support and encouragement - I came away with some incredible shots, which surpassed those taken on the same course in July. I highly recommend this experience, it’s a great day out and being at one with nature is an added bonus!

Apart from getting some good pictures of red squirrels my main purpose in attending was to learn more about my Z8. I ended up getting some cracking shorts and learned a lot about my camera and 'best' settings. Very pleased by the outcome.

A wonderful day with boundless photographic opportunities of red squirrels in different settings and behaviours. Well organised and plenty of support for photo advice. Comfortable, well appointed hides with a variety of logs, stumps and a gorgeous reflection pool, a jumping platform and photogenic stone wall with moss. Bonus was a variety of birds who also were comfortable coming up close. A very special day out. Bring plenty of card memory and batteries! And wear wellies if it's been wet.

From images taken on the location courses, to news of released products and firmware updates, along with attendee questions and queries, After School Club is a wonderful resource for Nikon shooters of varying experience and interests. The October After School Club provided me with things I that wish to try when out shooting, and overall, assisted my development and understanding as a photographer.

Maybe not the best skies for Photographing Castles, but the early start for sunrise on Bamburgh Beach, Lindisfarne and then on to Cocklawburn made the day go really quickly and very enjoyable. The added bonus of night time Fire Spinning was a brilliant addition to the day.
