The very foggy weather threatened to put a damper on the day, but Neil challenged us to use the conditions to obtain atmospheric shots. Not only did he coach us on camera settings, he also provided invaluable advice on composition and the type of shots to take advantage of the conditions. Neil's knowledge of the park, the location and behaviour of the deer was invaluable. In assisting us frame more artistically, he took the shots in different locations, showed them to us, and then challenged us to aim for the same outcome. This was most valuable. Turned out to be a truly excellent session.

The expert instruction provided by Neil Freeman made all the difference. Guidance on camera settings, choice of lenses, the type of focus for the different types of shot, and examples of the types of shot to aim for, as well as pointers on anticipating the behaviour of the Squirrels transformed the session into a most rewarding one. Neil also checked on each of us continually, ensuring that we were achieving the results desired. This was most welcome and appreciated.

The course provided an excellent overview of Nikon lenses, and how to get the most of them. I was hoping to test, reinforce and further develop my understanding. I was able to do all three, getting confirmation on several aspects of my current working knowledge as a developing enthusiast (plus some corrections on a couple of points) and encountering a couple of ideas / issues for the first time. Well planned and well delivered in a welcoming online setting.

Great way to get feedback from experienced Nikon Shooters on both equipment choices pre-purchase and on camera setup for various shooting scenarios- really helps to make informed purchase decisions. Also good heads up on future workshops where its possible to get hands on with equipment which is often difficult in camera stores these days.

This was my first attendance (amongst many in the future). Ricci & Neil helped demystify so many things in this well organised online encounter. They actually put meaning to the word Nikon Family. Absolutely heart warming & such efficient use of time. It is highly recommended by anyone with any level of experience.

I have recently purchased the Z6.3 - my first mirrorless camera so coming from the DSLR (850) Ricci's presentation was an excellent, in-depth introduction to the focusing capabilities of the Z range which are so very different to DSLR's. I learnt so much and now have a better understanding of the Z6.3. Thanks again.

This was, as always, a well organised event where we took in some spectacular waterfalls. Neil was knowledgeable and helpful and able to advise on how to get the most out of the day and the Nikon equipment.

Very useful introduction to Nikon Z6iii autofocus. Much I didn't know, several elements that were completely new and confirmation of some that I was already familiar with. All very clearly explained.

The trainer was clearly very experienced and provided a well thought out course. I liked that he was adapted to be most useful to those in attendance after asking us what type of photography we were interested in and what cameras we had. It was a bespoke course for us. The course was very useful and the technical bits were explained in an easy to understand way, we were encouraged to ask questions and this helped to clarify any information we were unsure of.
