This was my first experience of Noir and, let’s be honest, the first time I had really thought about the control that flash photography can give you. Ricci started fast and I thought I may fail to keep up - but the systematic approach he drilled into us worked well. We got to experiment and also see how he as a pro prepares a scene. The outcomes in terms of images at this introductory level were beyond those that I thought possible from a one day course. Highly recommend this course

It was a really good 2 days as I was very inexperienced at how to get the best use out of filters and the polarizing filter also.
It was also very helpful in understanding composition.
Both Neil and Ricci really understand both the technical and the creative sides and were good fun as well

The training was pleasant and enjoyable. Most importantly the content was very informative not only about the control of light (both ambient and flash) but a greater knowledge and understanding of my camera - D7200. The course was excellent, relevant and instructive. I particularly liked that we were treated as adults with a basic understanding of photography and not complete novices although I think a novice would still enjoy the course. I also found it very helpful the way the instructor swapped between theory and practice and that we got to work in both a studio setting and outdoors.
