The course was good and has reminded me of the benefit of not relying on aperture mode and to use shutter speed mode more to be sure used speed.
It was also good to go over photos and discussion how they were taken and settings used.

Ricci gave a very clear and comprehensive talk of key aspects of bird of wildlife photography. A key to getting good bird and wildlife shots is very accurate focusing.Particularly useful were his explanation and recommendations for the appropriate focus modes using the Z6/7 to capture images of birds, both still and in flight, illustrated with appropriate images. Also, Ricci explained the value of setting ISO Auto using Manual mode to set Aperture and Shutterspeed, to ensure images are sharp.

Neil and Ricci took us through 2 full packed hours of discussion and tips on Nikon Camera Body settings, types of lenses and Speed lights. They answered questions giving as much advice for participants drawing from their own experiences to make it more personable.

As an enthusiastic amateur attending a couple of courses elsewhere, this was great to reaffirm so things around settings etc as well as picking up new tips. Having had my camera 2 years - i had still forgotton what some of the things were. Great that the guys talked through each camera setting with great knowledge. Immediately changed some settings and teh way i did things. Every question answered even though we went overtime
