COURSE: The Art of Timelapse Online Talk / Q&A

My broadband connection is similar to dial-up modem, it's that bad so I missed the first few minutes of this talk, however, I was able to pick up and learn so much about timelapse photography from two excellent tutors. Both had extensive knowledge, which they were so keen so share. Their presentation was friendly, confident and questions asked were answered so that even I could understand.
I want to learn about Timelapse because I am intending to upgrade from my beloved D3 - that's a wrench!

Timelapse online course

COURSE: The Art of Timelapse Online Talk / Q&A

The course was well structured and explained in detail the two options for timelapse photography using Nikon DSLR cameras; Ricci showed the suggested menu settings for each method and the circumstances in which one method might be preferred over the other. There was opportunity to ask questions and these were answered fully by Ricci and Neil. On a practical front the Zoom meeting was well managed and we were able to follow along on Ricci's screen.

An Art I knew Little About

COURSE: The Art of Timelapse Online Talk / Q&A

Because of my complete lack of knowledge regarding timelapse photography the course opened my eyes to a whole new experience. Neil and Ricci gave a very thorough insight to this art and although I grasped some of the techniques I'm still unsure how to set this up with my D7000.

COURSE: The Art of Timelapse Online Talk / Q&A

Really enjoyed the workshop, went at a good pace that made it easy to follow, plenty of opportunities to ask questions
Leant so much and can't wait to try out my first time lapse shoot! A really enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours and best of all, all for free! Neil and Ricci were friendly and helpful.

Good knowledge

RATING: 5 of 5

COURSE: How to: Bird & Wildlife Photography

The course was good and has reminded me of the benefit of not relying on aperture mode and to use shutter speed mode more to be sure used speed.
It was also good to go over photos and discussion how they were taken and settings used.

Techniques in Bird and Wildlife Photography

RATING: 4.4 of 5
DATE: APRIL 2020

COURSE: How to: Bird & Wildlife Photography

Ricci gave a very clear and comprehensive talk of key aspects of bird of wildlife photography. A key to getting good bird and wildlife shots is very accurate focusing.Particularly useful were his explanation and recommendations for the appropriate focus modes using the Z6/7 to capture images of birds, both still and in flight, illustrated with appropriate images. Also, Ricci explained the value of setting ISO Auto using Manual mode to set Aperture and Shutterspeed, to ensure images are sharp.
