Lots of questions posed by participants some more useful to me to hear than others, varied from basic questions ( by me some of them) and others quite advanced or specialized. I don’t know how the format is generally if there are ever presentations on subjects etc. I can see it’s a wonderful resource if you have specific things you want to find out but if it’s always just reactive to questions it may not always be of interest

An excellent 3 days at RSPB Bempton photographing the many seabirds on the cliffs as well as two sessions sailing out to the gannet fishing grounds to photograph the birds diving. An added bonus of a dozen dolphins following us back into the harbour, performing a variety of acrobatic jumps

The 'three-day' format is a winner, allowing Neil and Rachel to work more closely with delegates on style, technique, and composition. Instead of becoming repetitive, delegates were encouraged at each session (and through pre-briefings) to try a different technique or style, with both instructors moving between delegates on location, providing hands-on advice, and at times taking the shot to demonstrate in real-time, what was achievable. This assisted everyone achieve greater creativity.

A well thought through Adventure, great locations, organisation, and timing, that took advantage of Shetlands beautiful scenery and stunning seabirds, for photography. Invaluable on-location support from Neil, Ricci, and Rachel, on camera setup, technique, and composition, enabled delegates to extract more from our equipment in order to achieve creative images, rather than hundreds of 'record' shots. All of this delivered in a congenial atmosphere which made the Adventure really enjoyable.

This was an amazing 3 day experience. Seabirds galore, dolphins, barn owls etc.
Neils camera knowledge and Rachels seabird knowledge combined with their help in obtaining the best images made for an unforgettable experience.
I finally made it out to sea, have photographed diving gannets, leaping dolphins and my first puffling hidden in a cave, so a massive thank you to Neil, Rachel and Paul the skipper.
