The October After School Club provided me with things I that wish to try when out shooting, and overall, assisted my development and understanding as a photographer.

Maybe not the best skies for Photographing Castles, but the early start for sunrise on Bamburgh Beach, Lindisfarne and then on to Cocklawburn made the day go really quickly and very enjoyable. The added bonus of night time Fire Spinning was a brilliant addition to the day.

This was a well organised course. Neil and Ricci used their knowledge of the area and Nikon equipment to help everyone get the best out of the course. Attended the Nikon School Adventures – Best of Northumberland with Neil & Ricci on 24th Oct. Despite Storm Benjamin cutting the shoot short, we still captured great seascapes around Bamburgh Castle & Rumbling Kern. The afternoon Q&A/editing session was packed with tips. Fantastic learning day — can’t wait for the next one!

Storm Benjamin hit so the weather was less than brilliant! But the instructors did a great job of guiding us round the outside of it and we got some very moody shots. The evening fire spinning the night before was great fun, but there was no chance of any astro work due to the complete cloud cover.

Great job managing the weather conditions to find a few good opportunities for pictures. Both Ricci and Neil were excellent for help with composition and technical aspects of photography. Nice group, too!

Absolutely amazing. I would recommend booking more than one day. Weather can’t always be guaranteed but these guys know how to make the most for your experience.
