Great help and support from Ricci as always and a big thank you to the watercress line and the enacters. Both my wife and I got some dramatic shots of the flying Scotsman. A day we won’t forget.

I've attended Night-shoots before but this was my first with a Steam Train as the central character. I really enjoyed the evening, the staff and re-enactors were all very helpful and patient and I managed to take some photographs that I was very happy with - especially an 'Agatha Christie esq' one looking between the carriages into the smoke at the engine. I may well book another course in the future!

The main attraction was the flying Scotsman, and anther loco (Class 20) staged at the platform with rein-actors. Staff from Nikon to the Watercress line, nothing was to much trouble and happy to help with camera setup, staging actors, lighting and access to the locos. very enjoyable evening.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Everyone was very friendly and there were plenty of tuition available from professionals and Nikon School staff, who enhanced my experience and number of keepers. Had full access to all areas in the arena which was wonderful and met many lovely, dedicated competitors and coaching staff etc. The bonus was trying some new equipment. Would definitely do again. What an absolutely fantastic experience from the time I got there both Ricci and Andrew put me at ease having not done a workshop with Nikon before they were both on hand with any technical issues with my gear and Andrew with photographic ideas and angles both very professional Guys and always had time for me in which I really appreciated Thank You Both

The day started with a very useful explanation about the velodrome and track cycling, where we could, and couldn't, go during the day - plus tips about the best places to go and the equipment that would suit each location. Races were underway continuously for most of the day, so there was plenty of time to explore locations and photographic techniques. It was an exhausting day, being on our feet for most of the time, but the racing was exciting and I have been delighted with my images.

What a brilliant trip, exceeded expectations! The locations were wonderful and the array of wildlife and landscape we saw was just fantastic. Had never previously seen golden eagles in the wild, what majestic and imperious creatures. And we were so fortunate to witness a stunning aurora at the top of a mountain in a landscape that almost didn't look real - like a CGI set from a movie like "Star Wars"! Well done Neil, Ricci and Eeva - an experience I'll remember for ever!
