Not having used Zoom or attended a virtual event before I wasn’t sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. The access to the course was easy and straightforward through an email link sent from Nikon after registering. Once connected the tuition was clear and flowed nicely with good information about the basic camera functions and how they can be used. Both tutors interacted well and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and learnt useful information about photography.

Although I have been dabbling in astrophotography for a while now, I was conscious that I did not have a good grounding in how the Nikon functionality had a bearing on various astro techniques. This session clarified all the topics I needed and was highly informative and enjoyable. The tutors (Neil and Ricci) were both excellent with plenty of examples given based on their own, real world experiences in the field.

The training was very informative, especially for someone like me who has never used a DSLR camera before and is looking to get into photography and buying my first camera. They explained all the buttons found in the nikon camera very well and all other aspects like iso, apetture and shutter speed. I also learnt how to take the perfect photo, this depends in a number of factors as explained in the training like the time of day, the area field you want to cover etc. Thank you Nikon school.
