COURSE: Nikon Camera, Lenses and Speedlights Q&A

I was a bit anxious to join initially as my knowledge of cameras is pretty basic and terminology of techniques is pretty much the same sort of level. I thought a lot of the terminology would go over my head, however the two guys taking the course were very down to earth, explained well, a bit of jargon but able to follow most of it.
I was expecting hard sell of Nikon products but this was not the case. Very informative course, great knowledge of lens use not enough on Speedlights though.

A great introduction to post processing

COURSE: Digital Darkroom: Introduction to Lightroom Classic

The walking through how individual photos were edited was so interesting- to see how others do it. This coupled with real life hints such as ‘less is more’ were very helpful. Loved the squirrel shots Ricci.

Fulfilling course

COURSE: Digital Darkroom: Introduction to Lightroom Classic

2 hours of a very complete course, touching so many aspects of Lightroom in very little time. Making I easy to understand and answering all the questions from the audience.
Ricci and Nick are both magnificent communicators and I would recommend this course to anyone interested in learning how to edit photos on Lightroom, any level, from beginners to pros.

Thanks a lot.

Very informative introduction to DSLR photography

RATING: 5 of 5

COURSE: Getting Started with Photography - Part 1

This was my first experience of Zoom and it worked well for this purpose. Neil and Ricci covered the basic controls of a DSLR and shared the differences between various models. Whilst there is always more to learn, this was a most informative 2 hours and was sufficient to get everyone started. There was ample opportunity to ask questions during pauses at the end of each section, or throughout the presentation using the online chat, and each question was answered comprehensively. Thank you!

COURSE: Getting Started with Photography - Part 1

Given the media that had to be used Neil, did a grand job of presenting his subject and I picked up a number of tips that I have put to good use already!

The Art of Timelapse Photography Online

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: MAY 2020

COURSE: The Art of Timelapse Online Talk / Q&A

My broadband connection is similar to dial-up modem, it's that bad so I missed the first few minutes of this talk, however, I was able to pick up and learn so much about timelapse photography from two excellent tutors. Both had extensive knowledge, which they were so keen so share. Their presentation was friendly, confident and questions asked were answered so that even I could understand.
I want to learn about Timelapse because I am intending to upgrade from my beloved D3 - that's a wrench!
