This was a look at the glorious Welsh peaks and valleys from a new angle. It was curious to see scenery that many of us had only seen from the tops, especially featuring sunrises and sunsets, rare events outside winter as the rain usually blots out the sun. Of particular value was the application of filters and the effects that could be obtained through these. There was a constant interaction with the delegates as measured by the number of interesting and useful questions.

While I have done quite a bit of macro photography, oil and water was new to me. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially seeing the setup and how everything was put together. The moderator was excellent, answering all of the participant's questions. I am looking forward to trying it myself.

Being a D7500 owner this was a course I was interested in to get an overview of the Z series. The course didn't disappoint but so far I've managed to resist the temptation to upgrade...at least for the moment.

Who would have thought that with only a couple of kitchen items and a vivid imagination that such wild images could be produced. This was followed by a psychedelic post edit session with Neil, all he was missing were flared trousers and a bandana!
