The course covers how to set up and use your Z series camera for video. It is ideal for someone who is comfortable using their camera for stills but has no experience of video. The content was well thought out, clearly presented and the online format worked very well, enabling questions to be answered without interrupting the flow. I would reccomend the course to anyone wanting to start using their camera for video.

Film making has always seemed complicated to me until now. Ricci's method of explaining the technical stuff made it easy to understand. So I did the course on Monday and was so inspired I went out on Tuesday and made my first short film using the techniques that Ricci had shown. I will now be making more, thanks to the course.

I found this session fascinating. Excellent photography as one would expect, but it was helpful to have an insight into how the shots were taken and to hear from those who work in the area where the best places are for capturing different types of images. It was also useful to have tips about the terrain and how to approach it and the best time for photography in this landscape. Highly recommended session, thank you.

I loved the course and gained a lot of tips to improve my photos, there’s nothing like hands on demonstrations for me. I can read books, but learn most with hands on tuition. I’d have liked a bit longer to include more insect photography.j

It was a very interesting session, at the beginning of the session there was a lot of talking about technical recommendations, it would have been great to show a couple of slides as it was quite difficult to follow.

This was the first course that I have participated in via zoom, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I warmed to Neil straight away, in fact, I felt like I was in the same room as him! There were one of two technical issues (camera not connected, no sound etc), but it didn't really affect the overall content and I think it helped that Neil had Liz to support him, who could raise the issues as and when they arose. As a beginner to macro photography I felt the course was pitched 'just right'.
