I enjoyed the 2-hour online course. Although I reckon to know about most of the basic features of my D500 camera, there's always something new to learn and it's reassuring to have these functions explained by a professional presenter to ensure my own understanding is correct.
This was the first of three online courses that I have signed up to. I was keen to take up the offer of attending these for free and discover how well these worked over Zoom.

As ever Neil and Ricci produced yet another brilliant session discussing Coastlines and how to photograph them. Always pushing the safety side first, in fact reminded me to look out for things I would never have thought off. Their photos are just stunning and what makes the session so good is the way they break down each photo explaining how to go about getting similar photos. They encourage you to think outside the box.. not just the sea but also the actual coastline and wildlife.

Superb photos and lots of really useful and insightful tips on how to do Sunrises and Sunsets. But not only that tips and ideas for failed ones making the trip out a successful one despite no decent sunrise/sunset to photograph. As ever Neil and Ricci made the whole presentation informative and fun plus they took time to answer each question as much in detail as they could.

being a novice with a camera I was worried about attending this course. I need not have been, the course was very informative and each step was fully explained in a clear and concise way. It was certainly an eye opener for me, I cannot wait for my next trip to the coast Many thanks Phil

A very informative session. Whilst I appreciate there was a lot to cram in to two hours I did find that some areas were covered much quicker than I could actually make notes. In spite of this I thought it was a great online course.

This was a very informative presentation with lots of useful and practical advice from Neil and Ricci on advance preparation and steps which can be taken to protect oneself and camera equipment at coastline locations in the UK and elsewhere. The hints on composition and exposure to obtain the desired effects of movement in the water and sky were welcome, and examples of what can be achieved were inspiring.

A really excellent course, which I got a lot out of. The colour palette of Iceland looks amazing and it was fantastic hearing how to capture all those amazing colours, light, textures in this course. The images look absolutely amazing and I so want to go there now to practice what I have been taught.

I have always enjoyed taking photographs of sunsets in particular with some fabulous lighting and colours, so I was really keen to see how Neil and Ricci approached the subject. The results achieved with proper location planning and the use of filters were stunning and, even when the expected lighting conditions did not occur it was amazing what could be created in post-processing. Really interesting presentation.

The 2 courses I have managed to see have been the best ones I have experienced from any provider.
The presenters are very clear in their explanations and pitch it at a level that can be easily understood.
They also make their subject interesting. This allows them to retain people’s concentration and attention. No mean feat for a two hour course. Absolutely excellent. Many thanks.

I found the workshop very useful and informative and thorough. The course tutors were very knowledgable and answered all subsequent questions.
However, being very unfamiliar with my camera and also having a poor recollection when the tutors guided us thRough the functions of the camera models I was making notes. This was to compensate for my poor recollection. I think it would have been more useful to have the camera in front of me and to take the time to go through the different functions.
