Thoroughly enjoyed the course which was very informative and both Neil and Ricci showed various different examples. They explained in detail different ways of viewing macro photography and showed lots of examples. No question was too much trouble and they gave really in depth knowledge

I found this really useful, particularly from a technical point-of-view. I bought a macro lens very early in my photography and have taken a number of shots, so I wasn't new to it. However, I still felt like I learned a lot, particularly in terms of process for approaching macro shots. What I especially like is that we're shown a photo and then Ricci or Neil talked through how they got it, what the particular challenges to overcome were, and let us ask questions which is a great way to learn

I found this was really useful. I'm from Northumberland and was able to see how Neil and Ricci interpreted locations I am familiar with. They answered all questions with real, practical advice. I do think it will immediately enable me to take better shots of a coastline I really like. The structure of putting up a photo and describing how they got it is an excellent way to make people think about how they take shots.
