The online session was well organised and I received setup and joining instructions in plenty of time. I had submitted an overview of the areas I wanted to cover in advance of the session ranging from camera settings, practical methods and various areas of Adovbe Lightroom post-porcessing. Neil Freeman managed to cover everything I had mentioned in great detail which left me much wiser - I also received a recording of the session so that I didn't miss any of the details. Excellent.

Yes, i decided the way to try ZOOM was to enrol in one of the 'free' Virtual Landscape Tours. This way if I struggled then I had time to rectify it before doing any of the paid courses. I'm glad to say it was a painless experience and up to the standard of tuition I have come to expect from Neil/Ricci. Although presented in a quiet and laid back manner it covered everything it said it would, camera modes, exposure, settings etc etc. All in all I had an enjoyable hour and will book future courses

Yes I bought a couple of hefty readable manuals with my Z6 to supplement the user manual, and these have been good to dip into now and again but nothing beats getting first hand advice from experts who know much more about getting the best out of your camera than I am likely to have. having owned a Z6 for 3 months this course came at the ideal time and I am looking forward to doing part 2 in a couple of weeks time to advance my understanding further.

A very useful guide to locations and techniques

I attended this to pick up on skills and techniques I may have missed from the first time. A thoroughly interesting and stimulating course covering several key photographic locations. The presenters showed several of their images from each location discussing their thought process, kit taken and used along with the filters used to create the images. Both presenters had different shooting styles so you had two ‘bites of the cherry’ for each image.

I found the insights on offer for the Z7's 45megpixel sensor very useful indeed. In particular the shutter speed segment of the presentation. The ISO section gave me valuable working knowledge too.
