What an insightful and practical presentation. I'd never thought about doing this type of photography but having watched this I had a go myself and was pleased with how well the use of an iPad works as back light and source of colour.

If you are looking to learn Macro Photography then this workshop is for you. Have your camera ready along with a couple of bits of wood, clear glass casserole dish, water, olive oil and washing up liquid and either a tablet showing a multicoloured background or some vibrant multicoloured card or wallpaper, as you follow along with Neil he will show you what camera settings to use and also how to edit your photos to bring out the great textures and colours and also answer any questions you have.

If you haven't used Capture One before it's great powerful piece of photo editing software and there is a dedicated version for Nikon camera owners out there. David takes you through all that you need to know to get you up and running in no time with easy to follow demonstrations. If you are finding that you are getting out of your depth with other photo editing software then this course is for you and you will be amazed at how easy it is to get a grasp of. I would highly recommend.

If you have looked at landscape photos in magazines or online & are wondering how to get the silky smooth water or how to get the vibrant colours at sunrise or sunset then this is the course for you. Neil & Ricci take you through what filters & lens they have in their camera bags to get these type of shots & more. Throughout the workshop they take you through a series of photos, what camera settings, filters & where the photos were taken to help you achieve the perfect shot. Highly recommend.

Neil & Ricci will answer any questions you may have throughout the workshop. Would highly recommend.

I was interested in the S/W for tethered shooting, which was not covered in much detail, and as an alternative to DXO Photolab - the variants of which I have used for many years. The course showed me that this is a viable alternative - or even companion depending on usage . I've invested in a copy as a result and will spend a couple more weeks going through it. Overall a good course that met 90% of what I wanted - it led to a purchase so has to be alright!

David Grover provided a very informative presentation about Capture One, and came across as a great educator. He was very patient and explained everything clearly and in everyday language.

I didn't know much about grads and ND filters which is why I signed up for this course. I do now and I'm glad I did sign up. Neil and Ricci know just about everything you need to know about using these types of filters with Nikon cameras and lenses. Their knowledge is similar to a bottomless pit. I suspect they get asked the same questions time and time again, yet they answer them with patience and positively encourage questions. An enjoyable couple of hours.

Having been out of photography for a number of years and needing to replace my ancient Nikon D200s, I signed up for this course to find out how technology had moved on. Neil and Ricci covered just about every aspect I was keen to know about without me asking any questions! The course covered literally everything from shutter speeds guidance, the best aperature to use to prevent lens distortion and more. Neil and Ricci's photos are excellent.

Neil and Ricci explained about the different graduated and neutral density filters which can be used to great effect on landscape photography in particular, and provided a number of useful tips for the settings required to achieve the desired effects.
