Great course for those, like myself, who are not experienced with Lightroom. Library and Develop tabs explains and demonstrated to a high standard. All major types of photographs cover from portrait to Astro. With demonstrations of a typical edit for all of these. Filters and brushes explained along with suggested uses. Looking forward to getting stuck in now.

Really useful session. Lots of helpful advice and tips about equipment, camera settings and composition - especially the comments about shooting for yourself and the looking for creativity in your image making and not simply capturing reality. Neil and Ricci make a great team and online sessions have been really enjoyable.

Being fairly new to DSLR photography other than using the camera in auto mode I am now hungry to learn as much as possible. Whilst attending the at home online session with Joe McNally he talked about Capture One and how easy it was to use. Neil Freeman then interjected with the news that an online course was planned for a couple of weeks time and so I enrolled immediately. I enjoyed the course very much but felt the product was aimed at more experienced and professional photographers.

Leading up the session I was abit unsure how see the course was going to go. I can honestly this covered every level. I was learning throughout. I made 4 pages of notes. Completely critical information that’s really changed my approach to portraits and lighting as a whole. It’s brought back a spark and I’m so eager to get new results from techniques and information I’ve learn from this course. Both guys covered techniques so clearly and answers all our questions. I will be back for more sessions

I very much enjoyed this course which is the first that I have attended through Zoom. I intended to join in with the practical side at the time and was set up for it but I found I much preferred to watch & take notes incase I missed something. What I particularly like was having 2 presenters so there was interaction from Ricci when Neil was setting up the next part of the process. I have since tried this & submitted an image to my local photography club monthly competition & it scored very well.
