Capture One Online Course

RATING: 4.8 of 5
DATE: JUNE 2020

COURSE: Digital Darkroom: Introduction to Capture One Pro

Excellent session – as a long term Lightroom user I’ve often considered changing to Capture One, but have been concerned about the learning curve for making the transition. Having watched the features demonstrated so clearly I’m now clear that the change is manageable, and definitely worth it. Trial version subsequently downloaded to play with!!

Unraveling Macro ... via Zoom!

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: JUNE 2020

COURSE: How to: Macro Photography

Yet again Neil & Ricci have put together a tutorial on Macro photography and kept us educated during Lockdown. Macro is something that I have dabbled at but never excelled but this session has given me a few new ideas to experiment with. Thanks to all at the Nikon School for keeping the training coming.

COURSE: How to: Astrophotography

Terrific course provided by Nikon School UK instructors Neil and Ricci. Astro photography has always been of interest and this course has provided all the information needed to try it out. Good selection of images, capture details and importantly the post processing steps required for the final image.

Snowdonia

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: JUNE 2020

COURSE: Virtual Landscape Tour: Snowdonia

Great course full of great facts and delivered in a very user friendly way, Neil and Ricci combined to give a 2 person perspective on the same subject matter which as they have different styles i found very beneficial and interesting seeing both of there final images giving us an idea towards which style i would like to try. The tips on gear and equipment were good so giving a greater understanding of which i may purchase. again another great course .

A. very enlightening and well thought out course

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: JUNE 2020

COURSE: How to: Macro Photography

I have been fortunate to have attended a Course in London at Nikon Head Office about 15 years ago which was very worth while.
So when I looked at attending the Zoom Macro course I had very high expectations, and I am pleased to say they were met, with the professional Tutors and there expertise in the field of not only Nikon But the Macro field as well. I found the 2Hour course just about right for me Time wise as it can be very tiring Learning a new skill.

Landscape tour Snowdonia

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: JUNE 2020

COURSE: Virtual Landscape Tour: Snowdonia

Got much more out of this course than I expected. The main focus was on the approach to landscape photography with lots of example photos, explanations of where and how they were taken and many practical tips for the budding landscape photography. The location guidance at the end probably took less than 20 minutes which I think was about right. The course leaders were also very good at answering delegate questions, again with sound practical advice. I would recommend this course.
