COURSE: How to: Z Series Film Making

I thought this course was very useful for those of us for still think of Nikon cameras as just photographic. Looks like the Nikon Z7 has really good movie capabilities. Thank you

New experience of photographing inside Caves

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: Experience Day: Landscapes - Caves

I learnt about the technique for photographing inside caves even though it was similar to landscape photography. Having exclusive use of the caves was great. As usual Neil was always at hand to offer advice and guidance from his expertise.

Best introduction to Lightroom

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: Digital Darkroom: Introduction to Lightroom Classic

This course was informative and a great introduction to Lightroom. The tutorial started with the basic lay out of panels and then using a photo showed how to edit and create the image you want. I came away with new knowledge and more confidence in my editing skills. Thank you so much!

An afternoon with Nikon

RATING: 4.8 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: Mastering the Z 5, Z 6 & Z 7 Part 1

This was my first time with Zoom, and all went well. The course was well presented, and although I have had the Z6 for about a year I found it very useful and increased my basic knowledge of the camera. I am looking forward to the next online course.

Brilliant Mastering the D850 online training

RATING: 5 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: Mastering the D850

I started film photography in the late 1970s (Nikon EM), moving into digital in 2003 (D100, D3, etc.) I now use a D850 (absolutely fantastic, capable DSLR) for fine art & landscape photography. I wanted to understand AF, explore using older Nikkor lenses & other settings in more detail; so I booked a training course lead by Nikon UK. The tutor, Ricci Chera, style of delivery, knowledge & experience was absolutely brilliant! Highly recommended whether you are a beginner or seasoned photographer.

Z6 Intro (and more)

RATING: 4.8 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: Mastering the Z 5, Z 6 & Z 7 Part 1

First class session, well beyond what I thought would be on offer. Neil provided a clear overview of the Z6 and took us through a number of working examples with hands on demonstrations. A lot to take in and process but well worth it. I'm really looking forward to the next session.

Landscapes

RATING: 4.8 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: How to: Landscapes

This was an excellent course and I would not hesitate to reccomend it. I found Ricci Chera to be completely engaging and an excellent presenter. To be slightly picky I found that Neil Freemnan's style to be slightly disengaged as if he wanted to be out on a shoot rather than being on a zoom.

How to Landscapes Review

RATING: 4.6 of 5
DATE: OCTOBER 2020

COURSE: How to: Landscapes

The online training course on How to Landscapes was extremely informative on equipment and skills behind the best landscape photographs. It provided invaluable information on the best lenses and filters required depended on your Nikon camera, I.e. DSLR or Z mirrorless series.
Many examples of good landscape photos were discussed to understand the reqd camera settings for shutter speed, aperture, ISO as well as the photo effects provided by Graduated and NB filters. Great experience!
