This course was an excellent way to learn the hidden secrets about the D850. Although I was familiar with the basics of the camera Ricci opens my eyes to the possibilities of this Nikon gem during the 3 hour course. He is very friendly and interacted with every participant and answered all the questions.

As the Nikon manual may explain what camera buttons do, it doesn't explain how to access the sub menus and what each feature is does. I therefore found this course very informative, the instructor taking into consideration my experience on older manual 35mm SLR cameras.
Instructor took time to explain all the functions, what they do and how to access them, the basic knowledge I knew but this was really good to get some more in depth information. I feel I can now make full use of my camera.

Brilliant:. While we did not reach the required minimum number for the course Nikon kindly offered a 121 with Ricci which was brillant. An opportunity to Not only discuss all your questions about the Z6, referring to the course material, but to discuss photography generally which got me excited about Landscape and in the use of ND filters referring to Ricci pictures. Well worth the £30.

Neil and Ricci run consistently excellent training programs which I have found very useful for learning skills for new areas as well as fine tuning skills, such as low light management. Their combination of expertise and open-ness make them not only great ambassadors for Nikon, but go-to trainers for me.

The online session was well organised and I received setup and joining instructions in plenty of time. I had submitted an overview of the areas I wanted to cover in advance of the session ranging from camera settings, practical methods and various areas of Adovbe Lightroom post-porcessing. Neil Freeman managed to cover everything I had mentioned in great detail which left me much wiser - I also received a recording of the session so that I didn't miss any of the details. Excellent.

Yes, i decided the way to try ZOOM was to enrol in one of the 'free' Virtual Landscape Tours. This way if I struggled then I had time to rectify it before doing any of the paid courses. I'm glad to say it was a painless experience and up to the standard of tuition I have come to expect from Neil/Ricci. Although presented in a quiet and laid back manner it covered everything it said it would, camera modes, exposure, settings etc etc. All in all I had an enjoyable hour and will book future courses
