The weather for this day was not the kindest, and after a morning of shooting when the rain set in the trainers dedicated time to showing how to get the best from editing images, discussed all things nikon camera, having a small group "after school club" allowing some very detailed discussion on use of various settings and how to get the best from the camera you have

The day was part of a few days spent with the trainers, their enthusiasm did not waiver was the days went on, continually providing guidance and support. Reviewing images to ensure your were getting the best from the environment and your equipment, the 2 trainers have a different style and approach which means you get a wide ranging approach to help improve your own photography

I jokingly said that the 2 trainers were with me from the time I woke until I went to sleep, they don't wake you or tuck you in, but it feels they are with you all day. Both go out of the way to ensure every moment of the event is beneficial to you as an attendee, happy to chat through all aspects of the day over breakfast, review the morning over lunch and discuss edits at dinner. No question is left unanswered, you get as much or as little input as you need at each point of the day.

Great morning photographing deer. Neil was great at helping us think about composition, settings and lighting and getting us in the right places to get the most from the morning. Studley Royal is a wonderful venue, both for the deer but also the trees.

This course was well presented and covered many of the cameras features. Everything was explained well and I now have a better insight into the functions of my camera. I felt the timing of the course was just right, it wasn't too long so people would lose interest. I will certianly be booking some more courses.

This was my first experience of an online course from the Nikon School and I wasn't disappointed. The content and delivery was first class and I learnt some very valuable information and tips about Z series autofocus from a very knowlegeable instructor. My understanding of the subject is now greatly improved and I'll be looking out for more courses!

I had a fantastic day with Neil on this one day course. The course played out in a relaxed format that allowed space for creativity and most of all lots of learning. Neil's knowledge of Nikon cameras is second to none clearly enhancing the experience by those attending. Neil's knowledge of the local landscape and geographical features was the icing on the cake to a superb experience.

After such a great experience at the Red Squirrel day the week before, I was so excited to join another experience, this time at the British Wildlife Centre. I was amazed that we got to go into the enclosures with most animals and be right up close with them, meaning the photo opportunities were incredible. I borrowed a lens from Neil and got to practice getting photos I've never had the chance to capture before, especially with such a variety of animals.

This was my first time joining a Nikon School course as a (very) amateur photographer and I had the most amazing time. With Neil's guidance, I managed to get some great photos that I'm really proud of and I was inspired to join another Nikon School course the following week! I was also really grateful to get the chance to borrow Neil's Z8 on the day which was my first opportunity to try a mirrorless camera.
