Incredibly inspiring listening to Carolyn about her work and the stories behind it. She has such a great energy, and has already inspired so many children to be creative and use photography not only as an art form but as therapy too. Fantastic to hear how she takes her wonderful portraits and how she gets the best out of her subject matter.

Very good day. The bird handlers, aside from being both informative and entertaining, were clearly experienced in setting up opportunities for photography and Ricci helpful in getting the most out of each situation. Loads of opportunities to put different techniques and handle different situations throughout the day. From close up to static and birds in flight to woodlan locations with challenging light. Each one was well briefed and had plenty of time to get a range of images.

An amazing workshop for anyone loving wildlife photography. The location has a series of great backdrops giving you plenty of options for composition, and with Ricci to hand to help with camera settings your guaranteed to go home with a great portfolio of images. Sharing the day with other like-minded photographers really helped as you share experience and ideas too

What more could you ask for from a Photographic Experience day at the Hawk Conservancy; up close and personal shooting positions that you can't get from general public admission, multiple opportunities to shoot birds in flight from different angles, on hand staff for advice on camera settings or technique? All that's expected, but with a price that is a lot less than other generic workshops, AND the ability to try different Nikkor lens during the session. I'd rate this 6 or 7 out of 5!

If you want to practice Bird in Flight photography, this is the day to do it. A wide variety of beautiful raptors and locations, plus knowledgeable handlers, and many flights from each bird giving plenty of opportunity to try different settings and angles.
