One of the great days with feeding gannets off the cliffs at Bempton. Course leader, Neil, and attendant celeb wildlife photographer, Rachel, very generous with their time, knowledge and passion. Learnt so much, not the least expanding vision for more creative and artistic wildlife photos. My first Nikon School day, long day - will book again.

A typically well organised course, ably led by Neil Freeman whose boundless energy and enthusiasm never ceases to impress. Good accommodation, expertly chosen locations, an experienced local guide, and invaluable hands-on expertise and tuition, from compositional guidance to ideal camera settings. Good fieldcraft and local knowledge resulted in great photo opportunities of Otters, White-tailed Eagles, Puffins & other Seabirds, Red Squirrels, Deer, Highland Cows, and landscapes.

Ricci elaborated further from the Part 1 course, again with info on settings I was vaguely aware of but had not used, e.g. Pre-Release Capture, which is not obvious from the camera alone how to use this (selecting c15 or c30), customising the viewing screen, and focus stacking.

This was an excellent discussion of the Z6III Autofocus settings. Each was described and demonstrated and I left the session with a much greater understanding of how to use each one. Recommended for those feeling overwhelmed by the number of options!

Like part one this was again full of information covering a lot of the camera settings in great detail, all very well explained, would throughly recommend the courses, well worthwhile for any one either starting photography with the Z50 II or upgrading from a DSLR to Mirroless.

Found it extremely interesting with lots of information which showed some hidden settings, as this was the third Z50 II course I watched can thoroughly recommend them and are well worth the price.

Sadly, the boat was cancelled due to the sea conditions but this didn't stop Neil and Rachel giving their expert advice at Bempton Cliffs.
The windy conditions allowed for many photo opportunities of soaring gannets, razorbills and more. There were puffins galore and I've taken my favourite shot so far.
Neil and Rachel made sure we were in the best position to get our desired shots and also gave a few photo challenges to push us out of our comfort zone. A great day again, thank you.
