Good to learn about often overlooked in-camera settings for monochrome photography. Learning about the differences between shooting in monochrome and shooting in colour for later conversion was also very helpful. The section of the course on editing was also an eye-opener. Did not realise that adjustments to the 'colour' settings could have such an impact on monochrome images.

A very useful session. Ricci explained clearly the autofocus system and a number of other questions I had on the use of the z9 camera. Furthermore, he gave me good advice on the use of settings. The use of real time photographs to explain various points were particularly helpful. In addition, being given the recording of the session is very valuable as it allows me to go over and refresh the topics covered. I would certainly be interested I attending more one to one training courses.

I was a person that did not like flash but after doing this course I have the confidence and I also learned that TTL is useful after being told it’s not. Thanks Ricci .

This was an excellent photography course organised by Nikon School. There were five students on the course and after meeting we headed off to a cafe to say what we hoped to get from the day. Lucy recommend appropriate camera settings and then spoke about the psychology of photographing personal moments in people’s lives. We then wondered around Covent Garden and Soho with Lucy suggesting photo opportunities and really interesting camera angles. A very chilled but highly informative course.

What a day! It is never easy to take pictures on random strangers on the street , I have been there but after the initial hesitation under Lucy's guidance and constant encouragement I found the challenge not so challenging. This is probably just the beginning for me in street photography and I wish to continue with this adventure of capturing human emotions in future too.
