Step into an inspiring evening of photography at the OXO Gallery on London’s lively Southbank, where Nikon School invites you to a very special in-person Q&A session. Whether you’re just beginning your photography journey or already have plenty of experience, this event is your perfect opportunity to have your questions about cameras, lenses, speedlights, and photographic techniques answered by true Nikon experts. Photography professionals Neil Freeman and Ricci Chera will be there to share their insights, knowledge and help you capture better images.
Your £10 ticket not only unlocks this exclusive event, but also supports the wonderful work of the Comedy Wildlife Awards, funding vital conservation and wildlife projects. It’s a chance to develop your skills while making a real difference for the natural world.
Arrive from 5:30pm to explore the gallery and enjoy the hilarious and awe-inspiring winning images from the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards Exhibition. The Q&A session itself begins at 6pm and runs until 7:30 – 7:45pm, offering plenty of time for lively discussion, expert advice, and shared inspiration. To ensure your question gets answered, you can email it in advance to [email protected], or simply ask on the night as the conversation unfolds. Even if you don’t have a specific question, come along and you’ll discover just how much you can learn by listening in to the discussion.
The atmosphere will be relaxed and welcoming, creating the perfect space to connect with fellow photography enthusiasts and discover new ideas. Since December evenings in London can be chilly, we recommend dressing warmly, even inside the gallery. Please note, the OXO Gallery does not have refreshments or toilet facilities, but there are plenty of restaurants and a Café Nero just steps away on the Southbank.
Come and be part of a creative community dedicated to learning, laughter, and the art of photography—all while supporting wildlife conservation. This is your invitation to a memorable evening with Nikon School: don’t miss out!
Comedy Wildlife & Whitley Fund for Nature
Comedy Wildlife was born from the need for a wildlife photography competition that was light-hearted, unpretentious and importantly, could make a difference to animals and our natural world. Its founders realised that laughter was a uniquely effective tool to engage audiences of all ages and cultures with images of creatures they may never be able to see for themselves – and that the world could lose forever. Each year we support and donate 10% of our total net revenue to our charity partner Whitley Fund for Nature
This course will be recorded and be available for participants to watch after the session has ended.
