Join Nikon School at Andover’s Hawk Conservancy where we will show the best camera settings, tips and techniques to photograph Birds of Prey either in flight or as perched portriats. You will also get chance to photograph some of the birds that are involved in spectacular daily flying demonstrations, whilst others are part of important breeding or environmental enrichment projects.
The course takes place at the Andover Hawk Conservency and will include the opportunity to photograph the birds during flying demonstrations as well as close up portrait shots. We will have our own dedicated falconers on hand to handle and explain the characteristics of each bird and then put the birds through their paces on our behalf.
Photographing Birds of Prey can be very rewarding and difficult all at the same time, our Nikon School experts will be around all day to help you with camera settings and techniques to help you get great images.
Over a buffet lunch you will have chance to review your images or ask any questions before we head back out to continue photographing these magnificent birds.
If you would like to borrow any kit for this course please get in contact with us at [email protected] with your request and we will do our best to bring it along.
This course will be recorded and be available for participants to watch after the session has ended.
Ricci and the Hawk team were so welcoming and informative. I had such a good day but now I have to look at 3000 images to see which are my keepers!
