On the left side of the lens you will find a function button (L-Fn). One of 21 different functions can be assigned to the button via your Z camera’s Custom Setting Menu. These include, saving the focus position, AF lock, and toggling RAW mode (if you’re only shooting JPEG). You can even assign it to bring up My Menu, so you can quickly access your most-used menu settings without ever removing your eye from the EVF.
The customisation options don’t stop there; you also have the ability to assign your preferred function to the control ring. It can be used to focus, silently adjust the aperture or dial in exposure compensation (when using a compatible Shooting Mode).
A fast fixed aperture, versatile zoom range and pro-grade functionality allow the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S to excel in a huge variety of shooting scenarios. Pair this with its high imaging performance and premium S-line quality, and it’s a lens that will appeal to enthusiasts and professional photographers alike.
