Course Contents

No matter what your interest or skill level in photography there is something for everyone to learn on this architecture photography workshop. This is a great opportunity to learn photography with Ben Moore. Ben will help you understand the composition skills needed for architecture photography while encouraging you to use the lighting and weather conditions to best effect. Ben will show you how he creates his unique style of architecture photography and the key things to look for when on location such as the use of repetition and symmetry. You will learn how to shoot with composition elements such as leading lines to create immersive images that draw the viewers eye into the frame.

During this workshop, we will be exploring the various architecture styles along London's Southbank to give you the chance to shoot a range of both new and old architecture. We will begin by meeting at Gallery@oxo, where we are hosting an exhibition for the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards. We will then head out (weather permitting) to photograph the various buildings around the Southbank. For this architecture workshop, we would recommend you use a wide angle lens such as a 14-24mm f/2.8 or the 14-30mm f/4.

You will be learning in a small group of 8 people, and with our relaxed and informative approach to photography workshops, this is a great way for you to develop your architecture photography skills. Ben will give you hints, tips and technique advice and also cover how the correct camera settings to make the most of the locations we are working in.

Each attendee will also receive a goody bag and a Nikon umbrella upon arrival.
