Fashion Collaboration:
Madeleine Jacob graduated from Womenswear at Central Saint Martins 2024 where she was sponsored by Swarovski. Madeleine works in design and art direction in Paris.
Madeleine’s collection focused on curating new textile techniques, and subverting traditional ideas. Drawing inspiration from a atypical childhood, growing up off-grid taught her how imperative it is to think holistically and approach creation with gentle consideration of the world around us. Curating her own natural dye archive, and growing and harvesting dyes. Also, collecting an ever growing late 19th and early 20th century women’s clothing and accessories archive, and has a real passion for women’s fashion history. This is a real inspiration in her design practice.
This workshop offers a unique opportunity for photographers to develop their skills in an immersive, collaborative environment. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of studio lighting, retouching techniques, and the ability to create stunning, high-quality images.
Nikon School experts will also be on hand to help with any technical camera questions and show you how to get the best out of your camera and lenses. We will also have a range of cameras and portraiture lenses for you to use on the day if needed.
Please note the images shown on the website are from a previous workshop and will not be part of this workshop. You will have chance to photograph models in equally eye catching garments by Madeleine Jacob.
