Nikon School are pleased to bring you a unique and exclusive photography workshop in London with world famous photographer Joe McNally and content creator, photographer and lighting expert Seth Miranda. Over the course of two days, a small group of delegates will have the opportunity to work closely with Joe, Seth and Nikon School as we show you how to think about creative concepts, then plan and execute a high end portrait shoot. We have booked an amazing location that will allow you to shoot stunning images with a number of different models. The space at MC Motors has the perfect atmosphere and space for you to learn about lighting and camera settings to help you gain confidence with your photography.
This workshop will be a creative masterclass for anyone that attends. This is the by far the best portrait workshop that Nikon School have hosted so far. From the location, models and and quality of coaching and mentoring on offer by top photographers, this is one of the best portrait workshops you will have the chance to attend. You will have chance to learn about a range of different high end portrait lighting techniques and the best camera settings and lens choice to ensure you come away with terrific images. Our small group size means that everyone will get a chance to photograph the models in a range of different poses and shooting locations.
Over the two days, you should be able to come away with a solid understanding of various lighting setups and styles and the accompanying images for your portfolio. With four professional models, you will be working on a ratio of 3 photographers to each model to ensure a premium photography experience.
The two-day design also allows questions from Day 1 to be addressed and solved on Day 2 so you can really see the results of your learning experience and be more inclined to experiment and push your creative boundaries. This workshop is about you getting great images and learning how to visualise them under our expert guidance.
Throughout the two days, you’ll participate in photographing different portrait setups and lighting and camera Q&A's. We will also take you through composition ideas and between Joe, Seth and the Nikon School experts you will have the opportunity to ask any photography questions and learn a huge amount about lighting and portrait photography. Joe & Seth will offer ongoing tips and stories throughout this 2 day experience and covering ways to remain motivated, versatile and inspired when on a shoot.
As a bonus experience, Joe, Seth and Nikon School will be hosting an online pre-briefing class for everyone booked on the workshop to answer any questions you may have and to help you prepare for the workshop. This online element to the workshop will take place a few weeks before the location workshop and we will send out more information closer to the time. This will ensure that the entire group can hit the ground running from the very first moments when we get on location at MC Motors.
