Experience Day: Portraits - Compelling Portraits and Editorial Fashion

Overview

Nikon Ambassador Carolyn Mendelsohn and Neil from Nikon School invite you to join them on a unique location portraiture workshop like no other. Set within the stunning moorland and located around the Brontë Parsonage in Haworth, we will be in the very place that inspired the Brontë sisters to write literature, and create classic stories like Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre. The location is a starting point and this workshop will help build your portrait photography skills and guide you in how to plan and take great images, and create an editorial fashion story. This is a great opportunity to learn about making compelling portraits inspired by the location and literature, and to expand your photographic knowledge and skills.

Wednesday 4th October: A workshop on creating dramatic and compelling story/fashion based photographs. We will guide you through the process of creating and shooting an editorial fashion story. With the creative team, Carolyn, a fashion stylist and make-up artist, the models will be styled to achieve a vintage yet contemporary fashion look.
