Join Nikon School on location as we show you how to shoot fast moving action at a round of the MX Nationals British Championships. Learn from our experienced tutors who will show you the techniques needed to photograph the action as it unfolds. We will also have the opportunity to shot ‘behind the scenes’ in the pits as the crews get the bikes ready for racing. At our pre-race briefing we will be covering all aspects of camera setup including the focusing modes needed for the day.
We will also have a selection of camera bodies and lenses available for you to borrow on the day, please e-mail us at [email protected] if you have any specific requirements and we will try our best to arrange that. Please note we need at least 2 weeks’ notice for any requests.
We will be shooting the action at the brand new Oxford Moto Parc circuit, just off the A34 a few minutes south of Oxford. There will be catering vans selling hot food and drinks or you can bring a packed lunch.

Great fun! Motocross is noisy, lively and extremely competitive. As a photographer this presents some great opportunities to develop a range of skills. We got to the best locations and were offered quality guidance as to how to make the most of them.
