No matter what your interest or level in photography, there is something for everyone on this workshop and is a good opportunity to learn how to shoot great waterfall images. We will guide you through the correct camera settings to make the most of the beautiful surroundings, covering techniques such as; long exposures, using filters, image composition as well as focusing techniques to ensure you get pin sharp images. The day will primarily be spent exploring the waterfalls across Wensleydale (see full address at the bottom of this page), however, we may travel further depending on the light and weather conditions.

Fitness: Most of the locations involve relatively short walks, but some of the locations will require a walk along uneven tracks and up uneven paths. Because of this, a moderate to high level of fitness will be required on this course.

Depending on the weather and light, we aim to visit several locations that have been specifically chosen for spectacular photography.

Please note that in the event of severe weather the locations may have to be altered at the last minute.

Yorkshire Waterfalls

I had a fantastic day with Neil on this one day course. The course played out in a relaxed format that allowed space for creativity and most of all lots of learning. Neil's knowledge of Nikon cameras is second to none clearly enhancing the experience by those attending. Neil's knowledge of the local landscape and geographical features was the icing on the cake to a superb experience.
