LATEST NEWS - During the challenging times we are all facing in the UK, our first thoughts are for the health and wellbeing of our photographic community and staff. With this in mind, Nikon School at Margaret Street will be closed until further notice. In the meantime, Nikon School will be hosting a range of online workshops, talks and seminars.
Nikon School are delighted to be co-hosting a Q&A talk with wildlife photographer Federico Veronesi. As an award-winning photographer specializing in African Wildlife Federico will be talking about his long career in the photographic industry and invaluable tips and tricks she has picked up along the way.
Federico Veronesi moved to Kenya when he was 26 following his passion for the endless savannah of East Africa and its extraordinary inhabitants. After a few years of working with base in Nairobi, he moved to the Masai Mara to become a full time photographer and safari guide. His limited edition fine-art prints have been exhibited throughout the world and his images featured on magazines, calendars, books and have been supporting conservation projects in Africa for many years. Federico’s photography style focuses on capturing the animals’ emotions and spirit, through the use of dramatic light and elements such as dust, mist, rain, or by setting them in amazing landscapes and under dramatic African skies. His first book Light and Dust is now completely sold-out and his second book One Life will be released in October 2020.
