Old waterfalls, new outlook

REVIEWER: Dipansu G.

DATE: NOVEMBER 2020

RATING: 4.4 of 5

"Excellent course covering the nuances of using ND filters & practicalities of shooting waterfalls. For somebody new to the role of filters it was really useful. Especially given the constraints of the virtual platform, it was very practical & hands on. Kept us engaged for the whole session."

Waterfalls - November 2020

REVIEWER: Christopher A.

RATING: 4 of 5

"I've previously been on a landscape with Nikon school so I thought this session would build on that. I thought a zoom session might be useful under the current circumstances. I wasn't disappointed."

Waterfalls Explained

REVIEWER: Anthony B.

DATE: NOVEMBER 2020

RATING: 5 of 5

"Despite the restrictions of Zoom Neil was able to take us through the mechanics of shooting waterfalls, including preparation, lenses, settings and filters. At the end Neil also talked through some advice on post processing. The advice was useful not just for waterfalls but also for other scenarios found in landscape photography. Just looking at the various photos used in the presentation gave inspiration on trying to achieve something similar. Well worth doing."

In depth introduction to waterfall photography

REVIEWER: Andrew B.

DATE: NOVEMBER 2020

"The course was an in-depth ‘how to do’ waterfall photography and was presented with lots of practical and very useful tips, plus lots of image examples. All questions were answered and the time just flew by. Very good introduction to the topic - highly recommended."

Waterfalls

REVIEWER: Sally B.

DATE: NOVEMBER 2020

RATING: 4.6 of 5

"There was a lot of very good information and tips. It was very helpful that he explained what kit was needed and the importance of planning ahead. However I felt that Neil assumed that I had more knowledge than I actually had in terms of ND filters, grad filters and also length of exposure. I now know about 3, 6 and 10-stop filters and how they affect the photo. Having shown us a lot of photos I now have an idea of what lenses to use and how to set up the camera."
