VIP Experience: Ribblehead

Join us for a full day exploring and photographing the stunning scenery around Ribblehead & Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales. This VIP experience is limited to four delegates, allowing us more time to teach you the techniques needed to take great landscape images. The Yorkshire Dales provides an amazing backdrop with sweeping landscapes, caves, limestone pavements, lone trees and waterfalls. Being in a small group also means we can access locations inaccessible to large groups, while also shooting much quicker allowing us to visit many more locations on the day to practice your newly learned skills

Course Contents

No matter what your interest or level in photography there is something for everyone in the Yorkshire dales and this is a great opportunity to explore the national park in a small group and learn how to shoot great landscape images with Nikon School. We will guide you through the correct camera settings to make the most of the beautiful surroundings; covering techniques such as long exposures, using filters, image composition and focusing techniques to ensure you get pin sharp images.

The day will primarily spent around Ribblehead (see full address at the bottom of this page), however, we may explore further into the dales depending on the light and weather conditions.

Fitness: Most of the locations involve relatively short walks, but some of the locations will require a walk along uneven tracks and up mountain paths. Because of this, a moderate to high level of fitness will be required on this course.

Depending on the weather and light we aim to visit several locations that have been specifically chosen for spectacular photography. Please note that in the event of severe weather the locations may have to be altered at the last minute.

If you would like to borrow any cameras & lenses for this course please get in contact with us at [email protected] with your request. We will require a minimum of one weeks notice for any requests

Please note that you may have to pay for parking in some of locations we might visit

We will endeavour to stop at a local cafe or restaurant for lunch, however, if you wish to bring a pack lunch with you please feel free to do so.

Latest course reviews...

Brilliant Tuition on Location.

Having attended various location courses on previous occasions my expectations were high and I was not disappointed. As usual, Neil was attentive and ensured he spent time with each attendee imparting his vast knowledge to all of us. We met at 9 am and because he knows the area so well, had a full day despite not being able to view the Ingleton waterfalls which were closed. Neil has a very easy manner and was at pains to make sure we all obtained the maximum benefit during the day.
