Join the Nikon School team for a day of photography in the stunning Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, which is a landscape photographer’s paradise. With mountains, rivers, waterfalls and ruins you will be able to shoot a range of fantastic landscape images.
No matter what your interest or level in photography there is something for everyone in Snowdonia and this is a great opportunity to explore the national park and learn how to shoot great landscape images with the Nikon School team.
We will guide you through the correct camera settings to make the most of the beautiful surroundings; covering techniques such as long exposures, using filters, image composition and focusing techniques to ensure you get pin sharp images.
We will be starting from and returning to the Waterloo Hotel. *Please note accommodation will not be included.
Transport: Transport to each shoot location will be included.
Fitness: Most of the locations involve relatively short walks, but some of the locations will require a walk along uneven tracks and up mountain paths. Because of this, a moderate to high level of fitness will be required on this course.
Depending on the weather and light we aim to visit several locations that have been specifically chosen for spectacular photography. Please not that in the event of severe weather the locations may have to be altered at last minute.
Joining instructions will be sent out closer to the time.
This workshop is one of a number of individual days photographing the landscapes and coastlines of Snowdonia. Please see the website for more information on the other days
If you would like to borrow any cameras or lenses for this course please get in contact with us at [email protected] with your request. We require at least 2 weeks notice for any requests and we will do our best to bring them along if we can.
A day chasing light and avoiding the rain in the mountains, whisked around by our tour driver Mark in the excellent Goat bus. Neil and Ricci showed deep knowledge of the local area to get us to some great locations throughout the day. Always on hand to help and advice to just the right degree that showed them both to be professional, friendly and genuinely enthusiastic.
