Join the Nikon School team for a day of photography in the stunning Snowdonia National Park in North Wales, which is a landscape photographer’s paradise. With mountains, rivers, waterfalls and ruins you will be able to shoot a range of fantastic landscape images.
No matter what your interest or level in photography there is something for everyone in Snowdonia and this is a great opportunity to explore the national park and learn how to shoot great landscape images with the Nikon School team. We will guide you through the correct camera settings to make the most of the beautiful surroundings; covering techniques such as long exposures, using filters, image composition and focusing techniques to ensure you get pin sharp images.
We will be starting from and returning to the Waterloo Hotel (see full address at the bottom of this page). *Please note accommodation will not be included.
Transport: Throughout the day we will travel to different locations in a small convoy of cars, which means we require 2 volunteer drivers who will be reimbursed for mileage.
Fitness: Most of the locations involve relatively short walks, but some of the locations will require a walk along uneven tracks and up mountain paths. Because of this, a moderate to high level of fitness will be required on this course.
Depending on the weather and light we aim to visit several locations that have been specifically chosen for spectacular photography. Please not that in the event of severe weather the locations may have to be altered at last minute.
If you would like to borrow any cameras or lenses for this course please get in contact with us at [email protected] with your request and we will do our best to bring them along.
Average customer rating for this course:
"The area has some great locations and there's a real opportunity to develop your skills as a landscape photographer. Transport is taken care of and the locations scouted out in advance, freeing you up to concentrate on how to get the best out of the settings. Programme is adapted according to weather and local conditions. Advice and support are available but never pushed. Group size is modest and loan equipment to hand."
"After a gap I needed to renew my enthusiasm for photography this course showed me how to get much more from my camera and filters I had been getting reasonable results but the camera will do more to make this easier than I realised Allowing me to concentrate on the photos far more great relaxed teaching"
