Join our Nikon School for an exciting Landscape and Astro photography workshop (weather permitting). Staying on location we will be exploring some of the most spectacular landscapes around North Devon whilst teaching you how to shoot great landscape and Astro images.
Working in a small group we will spend the days visiting the stunning locations to be found in North Devon and the surrounding areas. Neil or Ricci will be on hand to guide you through the correct camera settings and composition setups to make the most of the beautiful surroundings. We will be covering techniques such as long exposures, using filters, image composition and focusing techniques to ensure you get pin sharp images.
In the evenings, we will also (weather permitting) shoot Astro images of the milky way as the galactic core rises above the horizon
We have exclusive access to a lovely boutique hotel for the duration of this workshop which will be a great opportunity to meet other like minded photographers and enjoy a dinner and drink together in the evening.

5pm - Meet & greet at hotel, continued over dinner
Evening Session - Coastal sunset shoot
Night Session – Astro photography
Day 1 - Tuesday 4th
Sunrise shoot (optional)
Morning Session - Image Editing & Camera Talk
Afternoon Session - Landscape photography: either coastal, woodland or waterfall shoot locations
Return to Hotel for dinner and photography discussion
Evening Session - Coastal sunset shoot, followed by Light Painting or fire spinning on beach
Night Session – Astro photography
Day 2 - Wednesday 5th
Sunrise shoot
Morning Session - Image Editing & Picture Critique
Afternoon Session - Landscape photography: either coastal, woodland or waterfall shoot locations
Return to Hotel for dinner and photography discussion
Evening Session - Coastal sunset shoot, followed by Light Painting fire spinning on beach
Night Session – Astro photography
Day 3 - Thursday 6th

Parking
Please note that there is no parking at the hotel. It is a three minute walk to parking that is chargeable.

We also have Kase Armour Filters and adaptors, as well as tripods from Three Legged Thing and Manfrotto available for you to use if needed.
This felt like a social event but still worked in a lot of shooting and a lot of learning. Ricci was flexible to adapt the course to meet the needs of the attendees. The venue is perfect having shooting opportunities within short enjoyable strolls from the accommodation. As special mention should be made about the accommodation as it is close to idea with the proprietor (Will) understanding and taking care of the specific needs of a photography group coming and going at all hours.
