Join Nikon School for an exciting and immersive week long Landscape and Astro photography workshop on the spectacular North Devon coastline. From our base at a fantastic boutique hotel which is walking distance to the rugged North Devon coastline, we will be exploring the landscapes around North Devon whilst teaching you how to shoot great landscape and Astro images using mirrorless cameras and lenses.
On this workshop, we will spend the days visiting the stunning locations to be found in North Devon and the surrounding areas. Neil and Ricci will be on hand to guide you through the correct camera settings and composition setups to make the most of the beautiful locations and will be covering techniques such as sunrise and sunset photography, shooting long exposures, using filters, optimising your image composition and much, much more to ensure you get pin sharp images.
In the evenings, we will also (weather permitting) shoot Astro images of the milky way as the galactic core rises above the horizon.
We have exclusive access to a lovely boutique hotel for the duration of this workshop which will be a great opportunity to meet other like minded photographers and enjoy a dinner and drink together.
Proposed Itinerary - Please note that this is subject to change due to the weather conditions / cloud cover and we may need to alter the photography schedule on each day.

The workshop was excellent. Neil is a brilliant teacher who is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of photography. Neil presents everything in a very accessible way. He took us to well-chosen locations to maximise the photographic potential and I learnt a lot in the company of the other delegates on the course. Staying at The Smugglers Rest is always a fantastic experience. The proprietors Stacey and Will go out of their way to ensure that their guests have a pleasurable experience.
