The Art of Wildlife Photography

Join Nikon School at the British Wildlife Centre where you will have the opportunity to capture stunning wildlife images. We have exclusive access to the Wildlife Centre and animals and will be guided at all times by an experienced keeper. This is a great opportunity to get really close to our native British wildlife, and in some instances, you will be able to enter the animals enclosures while under supervision of the keeper. You will also be accompanied by a Nikon trainer who will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate photography techniques and camera settings, as well as having some of the latest Nikon kit (if available) for you to try out on the day.

Access to the animals is everything

REVIEWER: Edmund W.

DATE: SEPTEMBER 2019

RATING: 5 of 5

"Best thing about this course is the stunningly good access to the animals. The centre was closed to the public and we joined foxes, otters and wildcats in their enclosures. The keeper was tremendously helpful and completely understood what was needed to take great photos. The tuition was great and everyone in our (really quite small) group could get all the shots we wanted to."

Great course and support

"Great day out at the wildlife centre. Ricci keeps the day relaxed and makes sure you have all the information you need. I was also able to try out both the camera and lens I was thinking about buying which made my decision making so much easier. The person helping us from the centre was also great - very friendly and engaging. Great animals too! Thanks also to Elizabeth at Nikon for the great help with the memory cards after the course."

What a take home

"Great day, had not appreciated that we would have the venue exclusively to our group with keepers feeding the various animals to suit our photographic needs so many great pictures. The Red Squirrels appeared not to be swayed by food and remained exclusive so whilst I have many wonderful shots from the day the crowning glory is a very happy looking red."

"One of the best courses I have taken. Ricci explained everything about the camera settings, what to expect from the photo shoot, animals etc. The sunny weather was a bonus. I have learnt a great deal about wildlife photography."

British Wildlife Experience

"Throughly enjoyable experience. Fantastic venue, about the right level of guidance for teach, &, with the exception of the naughty squirrels, all of the animals put on very good shows."
