Join Nikon School at the British Wildlife Centre where you will have the opportunity to capture stunning wildlife images. We have exclusive access to the Wildlife Centre and animals and will be guided at all times by an experienced keeper. This is a great opportunity to get really close to our native British wildlife, and in some instances, you will be able to enter the animals enclosures while under supervision of the keeper. You will also be accompanied by a Nikon trainer who will be on hand to discuss and demonstrate photography techniques and camera settings, as well as having some of the latest Nikon kit (if available) for you to try out on the day.
The British Wildlife Centre provides a great backdrop for photography giving you the chance to get excellent wildlife images. This is a practical photography course and after a quick brief at the start you will be spending the whole day outside Photographing the various animals around the centre.
The Schedule for the day is flexible depending on the co-operation of the animals, but we would expect to photograph:
Red squirrels
Foxes
Scottish wildcats
Hedgehogs
Deer
Harvest mice
Owls (perched)
Otters
Polecats
Mink
Water voles
Badgers
Please note itineraries may change due to weather conditions and the co-operation of the animals.
Tea / Coffee will be available on arrival at the centre, but not food. Please bring a packed lunch / snacks or your own drinks with you.
If you would like to borrow any kit for this course please get in contact with us at [email protected] with your request and we will do our best to bring it along.
The fact that the British Wildlife Centre was closed for this day meant that the 10 participants had exclusive access with a keeper & your experts to go inside the pens to shoot unhindered the animals. The organisation was excellent and I'm sure everyone got fantastic shots. We were offered help and advice by your team which along with the numerous lenses Nikon provided was a great opportunity to try before you buy. A first class experience.
